"...to carry away memories brought for the forgetting
on one thousand one auspicious origami birds
whispering over chilled salmon, ripe fruit
suggesting the fertility of the afternoon."

Spiritual Companionship

When life transitions come, it is often a valuable opportunity to begin to be more conscious and intentional about life. Spiritual Companionship accompanies people as they attempt to learn and grow in their own personal, spiritual aspects of being human. It can awaken them to the mystery in all of life and provide a place to share their sacred stories with respect and reflection, and deepen their relationship with their own Divine.

As an Interfaith Minister offering Spiritual Companionship, I provide witness to people learning to live more peacefully with compassion and love in their connection to life, which is sacred in the nature of its vastness. The word spiritual does not belong only to religion. Spiritual can refer to our visceral connection to the land or to family, our lineage, the ancestors we've never met. It can be our connection to people we will never meet in the generations to come. What makes it spiritual is that our connection to life is larger than any one of us, and endures into an open-ended fuure. That connection has inherent meaning for us and we identify it as the spiritual nature of human life.

I listen deeply to the provocative questions the person may ask themself in their process of reflection and spiritual growth. It is not psychotherapy or counseling, it does not intend to fix anything. It is a conversation and reflection on the spiritual nature of a person's life, explore the possibilities, challenges and blessings that come from living an intentional and thus more spiritually aware life.

All conversations are via Zoom, last one hour, and are schedule by agreement.
Sessions: phone; chat; or in person
